The Assessment
Assignment Two: Report, 3,000 words in total. To demonstrate your knowledge
and understanding of the learning outcomes of this module you are required to carry
out two tasks and write a report on a case study (please see page 6 of this document
for the case study and page 8 for the specific questions).
Task One:
After you have carefully read the case study you are required to write a 2500 word
report on the questions that follow. Your report must be written in the third person,
passive voice.
Task two:
Write a reflection on how you have used feedback from the first assessment to help
you improve your writing skills for the second assessment. If you did not submit the
first assessment, then instead you need to self-assess on how you can improve your
writing skills. Maximum word count for task two is 500 words. Your reflections
should be written in the first person.
The module learning outcomes that this assessment is assessing:
1. Use tools and techniques from the discipline of psychology as they impact on
work behaviour.
2. Critically evaluate psychological research undertaken in work organisations
and work behaviour.
3. Understand a range of psychological theories and approaches that have been
applied to the study of work organisations and work behaviour within the
context of HR.
4. Use a range of established techniques to initiate and undertake critical
analysis of information and assess its validity adopt multiple perspectives to
identify key elements of real-life problems and select appropriate
methods/tools for their resolution.
5. Review current research taking into account issues of reliability and validity.
You will need to access the lecture materials, workshops, seminars, the
recommended reading and your own additional research from weeks 1-11 to help
you engage with the materials to help you to write your report

Work submitted should have a Front Page detailing the code and name of the
module and the specific assignment, along with your SEMINAR Tutor’s name and
the ACTUAL word count of part one of your report and ALSO the specific word
count of part two of your report. Also note that your report should be double
spaced, or 1.5 spaced throughout; Please include page numbers on your document.
